Local Play is a platform that connects users to organize and participate in local sports games. We do not:

• Organize games ourselves
• Verify the identity or background of users
• Guarantee the safety or quality of games
• Accept liability for injuries, disputes, or issues arising from games

You participate in games at your own risk. We recommend:

• Meeting in public, well-lit locations
• Informing someone of your plans
• Reviewing game organizer ratings and reviews
• Having appropriate insurance coverage

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of content you post (profile information, stats, posts, comments). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including its design, features, and original content (excluding user content), is owned by Local Play and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove or refuse to post any content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Monitor and review content for compliance
• Cooperate with law enforcement when required

8. Payment and Fees

The Local Play platform is free to use. However:

• Game organizers may charge entry fees for games to cover court rental or other costs
• Payment processing is handled by third-party services (Stripe)
• We are not responsible for disputes related to game fees
• Refund policies are set by individual game organizers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from use of the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCAL PLAY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Our total liability shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
